Community Building Partnership Through the 2019 Grant Program, with thanks to MP Tim Crakanthorp, we were able to purchase a new Commercial Mixer, Pattie Machine and Manual Plating Machine to assist our Catering Team.

City Of Newcastle As part of their “Boost the City” COVID-19 Grant Program, City of Newcastle recognized the pressures being felt in our kitchen at the start of COVID-19, with a $30K donation we were able to purchase a new commercial plating machine which enable us to plate and pack over 800 items each day with the help of many volunteers.

Kloster Honda In February through The Honda Foundation Grant Program we were kindly leased a 7 seat Honda Odyssey for our Wellness Program. Despite only being able to use this vehicle for a couple months before COVID-19 stopped our face to face programs, this vehicle has been a great asset during the pandemic, helping to transport various donations and Harris Farm Produce Boxes to branches and the community.

Lake Macquarie Council recognised the valuable work our 3 Lakeside (Boolaroo, Toronto & Morisset) branches were doing to assist the community during COVID-19, and kindly donated $5K through their COVID-19 Grant Program to assist with keeping our lakeside volunteers on the road.

Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group donated $10K as part of their Community Support Grant Program to assist us with replacing the cool room facilities at Mayfield Branch that w in dire need of an upgrade.

NSW Govt; Infrastructure Grants as part of the NSW Club Grants- kindly donated $120K to assist with the refurbishment of the Distribution Hub to increase space and ensure long-term community service asset.

Port Waratah Coal As part of their Community Investment Grant Program, kindly donated $20K to assist our four portside branches with asset upgrades during the peak of COVID-19.

Raisbecks continued to provide assistance throughout the year maintaining our fridges, freezers and cool rooms. In addition they kindly donated $16K in labour and parts to assist with the replacement of the Mayfield Cool room facilities in 2020.

Volunteer NSW Through MP Pat Conroy, we were successful in receiving $5K to assist Boolaroo Meals on Wheels volunteers to remain on the road delivering meals as part of the NSW Volunteer Grants
